The problem
The client needed to migrate from GoDaddy-managed Microsoft 365 services to a direct Microsoft 365 tenant without disrupting email flow, user access, or existing collaboration tools. The transition involved DNS cutover coordination, mailbox continuity, license reassignment, and resolving residual issues from the legacy GoDaddy environment, including account sync artifacts and service dependencies that could impact end users.

What we deployed
We executed a carefully planned migration to move the client from GoDaddy’s managed Microsoft 365 environment to a direct Microsoft 365 tenant, ensuring minimal downtime and a seamless user experience. This included tenant transition planning, DNS and mail flow reconfiguration, license migration, validation of mailbox access, and post-migration remediation of OneDrive/SharePoint sync artifacts and authentication issues. The result was a fully Microsoft-managed environment with improved administrative control, flexibility, and long-term scalability.
