The problem
The client’s AWS cloud environment had grown organically over time, resulting in unnecessary complexity, underutilized resources, and escalating monthly infrastructure costs. With limited visibility into resource utilization and cost allocation, the client was overspending on compute, storage, and supporting services without a clear optimization strategy, while still needing to maintain performance, availability, and security.
02 · Solution
What we deployed
We conducted a comprehensive AWS infrastructure audit to analyze the client’s architecture, usage patterns, and billing data. This included reviewing EC2 instance sizing, storage consumption, networking configurations, backup strategies, and service dependencies across the environment. Based on our findings, we redesigned portions of the cloud architecture to better align with actual business needs—right-sizing resources, eliminating unused or redundant services, optimizing storage tiers, refining backup retention policies, and implementing a more efficient infrastructure design focused on performance and cost efficiency.

- The optimization effort resulted in substantial monthly cost savings while improving the overall efficiency and manageability of the AWS environment. The client gained a leaner, better-architected cloud infrastructure with improved visibility into ongoing spending, stronger governance, and a scalable foundation designed to support future growth without unnecessary operational expense.
